POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will lead the provider privileging and enrollment staff with daily operations related to provider enrollment, claim edits, work-que reconciliation and provider audits related to provider enrollment. The supervisor will support the team by functioning as a senior-level team member who can service as a resource and decision-maker for the team. The supervisor will be proficient in provider enrollment and understands the overall objective of the provider privileging and enrollment process. The supervisor will develop and maintain effective relationships within the medical staff to ensure confidence respect and dependability. Supervisor will manage the medical staff coordinators and credentialing specialists in the Medical Staff department.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
Minimum Required: Associates Degree, Business Management or related field or 2-3 years of experience in related field
Preferred: Bachelors degree, Business Administration or related field
Experience:
Minimum Required: 1 year, supervisor experience in hosptital setting or related field.
Preferred: 2-3 years, supervisor experience
License/Certification:
Minimum Required: N/A
Preferred: CPCS or CPMSM
Special Skills/Training:
Minimum Required: Proficient in Medical Staff privileging, provider enrollment, and delegated credentialing. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and medical staff enrollment programs.
Reporting Relationships: Does this position formally supervisor employees? Yes If yes, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote or effectively recommend such to manager.
