What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Toddler Teacher position at Children's Land?

As an Early Childhood Educator at Children's Land, you will play a critical role in the developmental growth of toddlers. This position requires a blend of creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. You will be responsible for designing and implementing educational programs that encourage developmental milestones, social interaction, and a love for learning in a fun and safe setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment where children feel comfortable and secure.
  • Monitor and document children's progress and development, sharing observations with parents and colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, including regular communication about children's achievements and needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the holistic needs of the children are met effectively.
  • Adhere to state licensing regulations and center policies for child care and education.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development stages and curriculum design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
