Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
- Monitor developmental milestones and maintain detailed records of each child's progress.
- Facilitate a structured daily routine, including educational activities, playtime, and rest periods.
- Ensure children's safety by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic classroom to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses.
- Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about their child's development and address any concerns.
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
- Create and use educational materials that stimulate the children's senses and encourage learning.
- Organize activities that promote exploration and motor skill development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pre-kindergarten education and care.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with pre-kindergarten children.
- Mandated Reporter certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Patience and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Creativity in developing educational materials and activities.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Solid understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
