Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts that may arise
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or childcare setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for children of different ages
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
- Understanding of special education needs and accommodations
- Ability to lead physical education activities and promote healthy habits
- Experience working with preschool-aged children and implementing age-appropriate curriculum
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in lesson planning, including incorporating math concepts into activities
- Experience providing tutoring or academic support to children is a plus
