Overview

This position coordinates services, trains and supports participants and hospital staff associated with Project RISE (Reaching for Independent Successful Employment), PAVE (Providing Accessible Volunteer Experience) and student internship programs. This includes services and projects related to inclusion of people with disabilities in hospital diversity efforts and educational events.

Responsibilities
    Describe Essential Function: Place, train and support employees, volunteers and student interns in assigned areas of responsibility to promote a safe, patient/family centered and high performing environment.
  • Describe Essential Function: Coordinate ongoing education, training and orientation activities for PAVE volunteers, student interns and RISE employees.
  • Describe Essential Function: Assist RISE Program Manager in developing, planning and executing programs and special events that promote inclusive employment opportunities for former patients and others with disabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Human Service or teaching 3-5 years experience Experience directly supporting individuals with disabilities in community or employment settings
Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $23.26/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
