Overview

The Program Director, Transplant Center (Solid Organ Transplant Program) provides leadership for the Transplant Center with program oversight of the Heart, Liver, and Kidney transplant programs. The Director is accountable for the strategic and operational development, coordination, evaluation, and enhancement of transplant programs in response to the needs of the patients and while providing support to the medical and surgical and program leadership. Specific responsibilities include education, training, safety, regulatory (OPTN/UNOS, CMS), financial, marketing collaboration, and resource management in accordance with regulatory guidelines and polices; also assuring quality outcomes that meet or exceed standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, participates in, organizes and directs activities (fiscal, quality, performance improvement, and research) related to the transplant program.
  • Maintains and assures program compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Provides program leadership to support and enhance operations for the Transplant Center.
  • Formulate and lead in establishing goals to guide the strategic direction for the Transplant Center.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience Previous experience as administrative assistant, office coordinator, transplant coordinator/manager, program/office manager or similar roles.
  • Master's Degree preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $42.38/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
