General Purpose of Job
To perform a range of validation duties and services of FSFN (Florida Safe Families Network) data to ensure compliance and adherence to all applicable guidelines and standards for the Children’s Network of Hillsborough, LLC.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyzes and validates financial data entered into FSFN to ensure compliance with the organization’s standards, as well as, all applicable State and Federal regulations
- Validates Families First Prevention Service Act (FFPSA) entries in state systems for compliance and accuracy for reimbursement
- Maintains findings documentation, reviews financial impacts, and prepares report for leadership
- Reviews and analyzes various internal/external reports that may include, but not limited to, census reports, Title IV-E reports, placement reports, and provides input on variances, inconsistency, or accuracy
- Collaborates with Data Management personnel to rectify issues and determine gaps in service
- Prepares weekly reports for leadership for discussion and distribution to specific departments to ensure fiscal responsibility
- Identifies and/or makes corrections to financial data entered in various systems
- Conduct financial data analysis and special reports as assigned by Director of Finance
- Other duties. assigned as special projects, may be requested.
Working Hours
Our work week is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Your supervisor will advise you of your work hours; however, business office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Travel
Travel in and outside of Circuit 13 (Hillsborough County) may be required.
Training
All employees must complete fifteen (15) hours of on-line or classroom Training on an annual basis. If the employee is a Certified Child Welfare Professional, Training hours must total twenty (20) annually.
Supervisory Responsibilities
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Education And Experience
Associate degree from an accredited college, university, or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills And Abilities
Must be able to operate standard modern office machinery, including fax, telephone, calculator, computer, scanner, printer, copier, and mail machine. Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm; excellent word processing skills. Must be competent with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be competent with basic e-mail protocol and procedures including sending, receiving, replying, attachments, and meeting scheduling; effective listening skills; ability to work as a team member, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Must possess excellent organizational skills and abide by the highest standards of confidentiality.

Certificates, License, Registrations, backgrounds, drug screens, Etc.
- Valid driver’s license required, with proof of insurance
- Driver’s license check is a requirement
- No special certification or registration is required for this position
- Criminal background screening (fingerprinting) (Local Law Enforcement and FBI/FDLE)
- Drug Screening is a requirement

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to be proactive, as well as handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
