Purpose of this position:
The Robinson Counseling Center’s Substance Use Disorder Program (SUD-Program) which provides Certified Recovery Specialist Services within the local community is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a team member. This team member will be fully trained in daily activities and report to the Director of the Substance Use Disorder Program or designee.
**This position is for Wyoming County Coverage**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist individuals and their families with increasing resilience and self-sufficiency within their recovery journey
- Outreach that includes assertive engagement strategies
- Knowledgeable of supportive resources in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties
- Ability to maintain a patient centered approach
- Application of trauma informed care
- Collaboration with clinical staff
- Responding to Warm Handoff Referrals within the community
- Being well organized and adaptive within the work environment

Qualifications
All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED or higher
Minimum of five years living with a Substance Use Disorder and at minimum 18 consecutive months of demonstrated recovery time from a significant Substance Use Disorder
Each candidate must possess a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB)
Must pass Safe Crisis Management Training (physical and theory), upon hire and then annually as a condition of employment. Other requirements include:
- Driver’s License
- FBI Act 73
- Criminal history
- Act 33 clearances
