What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Clinical Lead position at Childrens Dental Health?
Spark Orthodontics currently has a full-time opportunity available for an Orthodontic Clinical Lead in our Northeast Philadelphia locations!
This position will also be reqiured to travel to our Warrington and Springfield locations when needed.
The Orthodontic Clinical Lead plays a crucial role in CDH practices. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and overseeing activities of clinical team members to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high quality standard of care for patients. A successful Clinical Lead exhibits an efficient, knowledgeable, and positive countenance for every patient experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and supervise activities of clinical team members engaged in clinical care of our patients
- Organize and assign delegated duties to clinical team members
- Monitor daily performance of clinical team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with clinical compliance
- Identify and recommend solutions to clinical team member and office issues
- Ensure a high quality standard of care for patients by reviewing and researching patient/parent concerns or complaints; recommending appropriate action or follow through
- Administer the ordering and management of clinical supplies across all Ortho locations
- Ensure clinical equipment remains in good operating condition.
- Ensure clinical policies and procedures comply with current state and federal regulations. Identify and recommend policies needed to ensure quality of care and clinical compliance.
- Assist clinical team with maintaining patient flow ensuring patients are seen in a timely manner
- Attend clinical meetings and relay pertinent information to clinical team members in a timely fashion

Requirements
- A broad-based understanding of the orthodontic treatment process; at least 3-5 years of experience working in Orthodontics
- Familiarity with Dolphin is a plus
- DANB Radiology certification preferred
- Ability to promote favorable company image wtih physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public
- Warm, friendly, courteous, and enjoys working with children
- Punctual, responsible, and a fast learner
- Ability to multitask is critical
