The Family Recruitment Supervisor works with the Director of Family Engagement to develop, execute, and manage the team of Family Recruitment Specialists and Family Experience Specialist. The supervisor’s responsibility is to manage and support the team to build awareness for and recruit new foster, therapeutic, resource, and adoptive families for CHS. The Family Recruitment supervisor is ultimately responsible for the number of families who apply with CHS across the state of NC.

- Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of CHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Recruit, supervise, and support the professional growth of family recruitment team with a compassionate and innovative approach.
- Build effective teams and leverage all members while empowering others and providing mentoring and coaching opportunities.
- Promote a healthy work/life balance while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Promote professional growth across family recruitment team in areas of recruitment skills, customer service, and business/sales acumen.
- Motivates and engages colleagues and subordinates to deliver outstanding results.
- Demonstrates a bias for action and dedication to achieving goals by working beside colleagues and subordinates to deliver needed application outcomes.
- Contributes to excellence within the team and across the organization.
- Actively participate in Agency Leadership Team and FC2P Management Team.
- Participation in hub meetings to understand needs in real time, develop recruitment tactics based on needs, and execute change of action plans to support FC2P program teams.

- Excite and engage new families, businesses, and other non-profits to become involved with CHS.
- Weekly/Monthly tracking and communication of new family applications to family recruitment team and Director of Family Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with civic, faith, business, DSS partners, and other community organizations to build awareness about the need for families.
- Serve as DSS liaison/point of contact for Family Recruitment team for identified DSS agencies.
- Coordinate and participate in public speaking engagements to increase agency visibility and collaborations.
- Organize, facilitate, and document Information Sessions.
- Tracks and determines schedule of information session based on past and current attendance trends.
- Maintain a strong understanding and knowledge the NC Child Welfare system, foster care and adoption services, NC licensing standards,
- Ensure follow-up on and documentation of all Foster Care to Permanency inquiries, sending out applications when necessary.
- Be available to conduct training for MAPP/DT.
- Create and manage a statewide CHS Ambassadors Program.
- Work with the Director of Family Engagement to create and implement annual recruitment plans to increase accountability, define responsibilities, and realize outcomes needed to provide safe and loving homes for children in need across NC.
- Utilize data on CHS capacity and county need to drive the recruitment plan.
- Work closely with the Director of Family Engagement and the Marketing Team to track the marketing plan efforts in targeted areas.
- Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.
