About The Role
Chime is seeking an experienced Product Designer to set the standard for craft, quality, and innovation for our design team. You’ll help millions of Americans gain financial peace of mind as you bring Chime’s product vision to life.
As a Product Designer, you’ll be a craft and strategy leader for a team of makers, prototypers, innovators, and builders. You’ll help design and create products that will disrupt the financial industry and empower our members to take control over their financial well-being.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $150,000 and up to $207,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

- 5 years of proven history shipping consumer mobile products
- An industry presence that attracts candidates to Chime
- Led design teams in creating a vision for the future
- Owned product design strategy from start to finish
- Experience developing strong cross-functional relationships
- Ability to deliver on both business and user goals
- Experience in mentoring and giving feedback to help others grow and level up
