What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Coordinator position at Chimes DC Brand?

Essential Functions:
- Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
- Responsible for the inventory of computer equipment that meets the requirements of the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC)
- Accountable for 100% of computer-related equipment as per Army policy
- Provide documentation as required to support and keep inventory functions current including, but not limited to, the Property Book (PB), Unit Supply (USE) Level, hand receipts, and sub-hand receipts
- Proactively monitor equipment disposition status at all times and report status to the Property Book Officer weekly
- Process all DLA/DRMO unserviceable equipment turn-in utilizing DD Form 1348-1 within 72 hours of receipt from source of origin IAWAR 750-1
- Provide assistance on hand-held receipt procedures and eliminate backlogs
- Attain 100% accountability in preparation for addition to the property book
- Apply practical knowledge of inventory operations and program requirements
- Interpret and apply a variety of established inventory policies, procedures, and regulations
- Apply automated data processing principles in the performance of assigned duties
- Provide answers to questions about procedures, policies, written instructions, and directives
- Provide reports to supervisors on status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall work operations and problems
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of parts and assemblies within or between departments
- Review production schedule; confer with department supervisors to determine material needs
- Comply with production and shipping schedules and priorities for the flow of material
- Compute amount and requisition material needed for job orders
- Maintain inventory and compile a report of material in stock
- Use a manual or computerized system to locate material
- Establish delivery schedules according to job order priorities and the availability of material
- Monitor and control movement of material
- Arrange for transporting material to various areas/departments
- Arrange for on-site transfer of material to meet schedules
- Use a hand truck or industrial truck to transport material between areas or departments
- Use technology for the completion of specified job duties
- Use and care for equipment properly following all safety requirements
- Attend work regularly according to assigned work schedule
- Wear ID badge(s) at all times while performing work under this contract.

Other requirements:
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to drive

Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of safety and environmental requirements associated with tasks performed
Experience:
- Experience in material coordination
- Working knowledge of DLA ETIDS Database
- Contractor shall have three plus years previous U.S. Army supply training and experience (e.g., MOS 92-series or DAC 2000 career series);
- Shall have training and certification plus experience using the Global Combat Service & Support –Army (GCSS-ARMY) at both the Battalion level Property Book (PB) and Unit Supply (USE) Level;
- Inventory management services shall encompass all documentation of supplies and equipment.
