Overview and Responsibilities
Under the leadership of the Campus Manager and in cooperation with the River Falls Program Assistant and Campus Assistant, this position is responsible for providing student/customer service, and general clerical support at Chippewa Valley Technical College’s (CVTC) River Falls Campus.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for telephone and walk-in customers for the following Student Services departments: records and registration, admissions, assessment and academic advising at the River Falls campus.
- Assist customers with accessing College website and MyCVTC.
- Serve as backup for the Campus Assistant.
- Inform customers about the services and resources available at the College.
- Perform/escalate emergency tasks as appropriate.
- Schedule appointments.
- Provide clerical support to other departments and instructors as appropriate.
- Respond to email inquiries from students, staff, faculty, and community.
- Responsible for building closure at end of shift.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of general office policies and procedures.
- Ability to learn and adhere to College organization, policies, and procedures related to position.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with additional post-secondary training in related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a professional office environment.
