Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Clerk to join our team at our new location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking or a strong interest in learning about the art of baking. This role requires a trustworthy and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to grow with our company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting bakery items and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and package bakery products such as bread, pastries, and cakes according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery displays, work areas, and equipment.
• Receive deliveries of bakery ingredients and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient bakery operations and a positive work environment.
• Continuously seek opportunities for learning and skill development to enhance bakery knowledge and performance.

Requirements:

• Passion for baking or a strong interest in learning about baking techniques and practices.
• Trustworthy and reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the success of the bakery.
• Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual: English / Spanish
• Time availability for shifts as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Restaurant type:

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
