Attic Insulation Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Attic Insulation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing insulation in residential attics to ensure energy efficiency and comfort. Duties include preparing work areas, safely handling insulation materials, using necessary tools and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with other technicians and crew members to ensure high-quality job completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install attic insulation (batts, blow-in, spray foam, etc.)
- Seal air leaks and ensure proper ventilation
- Operate insulation equipment and tools safely
- Maintain cleanliness of job site
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs on time
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and customer
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Skill in using small tools, i.e., cordless screwdriver, hammer, manual screwdriver, file, tin snips, attic blowing machine
Education and Experience:
High school graduation or GED

This program is designed to provide home energy assessments, energy education and conservation installation services to low income qualified households in Yolo, Solano, and Sacramento counties.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in insulation or construction (preferred)
- Ability to work in confined spaces and heights
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary
Special Qualifications:
Must possess a valid California Driver's License and be able to be insured through company fleet insurance to drive our vans. Background check and drug screening required.
Salary : $19 - $21
