Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Production Artist is responsible for translating various brand designs into mechanical files and building precise and complete files that are ready for prepress/printing by utilizing a strong knowledge of layout, graphic design and print production.
Primary Tasks:
Produce print and/or digital collateral based on the creative direction provided and maintain the creative integrity of the original concept and layout.
Responsible for multiple rounds of revisions to files based on input from the Creative Director, Art Director, Copywriter, or Account Director. Will take direction, yet independently follow through on production tasks.
Produce high quality assets in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under supervision of the Art Director and Creative Services team members.
Participate in pre-production and/or campaign meetings during various phases of projects.
Adhere to brand standards, using approved fonts, logos and graphics defined in the brand guidelines. Responsible for quality control in this area.
Analyze and evaluate projects to determine most efficient execution. Troubleshoot problems and creatively resolve production challenges while maintaining design intent.
Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing and digital applications.
Assist in organizing, monitoring, archiving, and maintaining files on the server and in the digital asset management system.
Consults with design team to streamline production goals and ensure consistency across deliverables.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communications
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and fluent in MS Office, Word, and PPT
Knowledge of advertising, production workflow and internal design team processes
Experience in image manipulation and color correction
Ability to work within a fast-paced development cycle
1 year experience in production art or related field
TARGET

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and skilled in MS Office, Word, and PPT
Advanced knowledge of advertising, production workflow and internal design team processes
Aptitude to work constructively under stress in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
