What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Pocola Trophys position at Choctaw Nation?
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will be responsible for serving food and drinks in a courteous and efficient manner ensuring a positive dining experience. This position will report to the Food & Beverage Shift Manager.
Part-Time
Pay : 6.50 Tips (Average Tips an hour 14.59)
Days : Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
Shift : 4p-12 Sunday and Tuesday 6p-2a Friday Saturday
Primary Tasks:
You will serve food and drink items and ensure correct temperature.
You will answer questions posed by patrons including basic ingredients in food to help identify any possible allergy issues should a guest ask.
You will help bus tables to ensure the table is available for the next guest.
You will communicate with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
You will promote current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.
You will perform regular closing tasks, including side work, set up, maintaining station cleanliness and end of shift tasks.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
ABLE Certification
Can handle cash accurately and responsibly.
Must be able to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Teamwork skills are required to support the success and enjoyment of the guest.
Previous Server or Wait staff Experience desired.
