Job Responsibilities Overview:
- Administers the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist
- Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient care
- Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation
- Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionals
- Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy Assistant with an Associate’s Degree in PT, Current State of Texas Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and current AHA CPR;
- Valid state driver’s license
- Home Health or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
