Job Title: Development Specialist
Pay Rate: $21.18 per hour

Summary:
Choices for People Center is seeking a motivated Development Specialist to assist our Training and Engagement Director in building partnerships that benefit our individuals, staff, and community partners. This role focuses on implementing initiatives to develop resources for all stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison for program development and outreach services.
  • Maintain knowledge of resources available for employees and individuals.
  • Provide necessary information to employees, individuals, and stakeholders.
  • Promote the agency and participate in community events.
  • Support interdepartmental communications to ensure consistent branding.
  • Assist with recruitment of new staff as needed.
  • Monitor quality across operations by analyzing data and implementing best practices.
  • Deliver training on technical, operational, and management topics.
  • Implement and oversee all training programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess training and development needs.
  • Help create brochures, training materials, and presentations.
  • Mentor staff and model best practices for service delivery.
  • Stay updated on regulations and best practices in service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records for the division.
  • Uphold all policies and legislative regulations.
  • Represent the organization professionally in various settings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in training, community outreach, and public engagement.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills; ability to interpret business materials and present information effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and data management; skilled in creating presentations and documenting information.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move, sit, and stand for extended periods and handle up to 25 pounds.
  • Capable of managing interruptions and adapting schedules.
