What You Will Do

We are looking for a highly engaged and creative person to join the team as our Community Engagement Associate. Your primary responsibility will be to keep up with day-to-day trends in the CPG space, assist in managing all social media accounts, and create unique content for the brand. You will report directly to the Senior Associate of Community and Engagement and collaborate closely with the Brand Director. You will be a game changer by bringing new ideas to the table through daily social listening, keeping up with a fast paced, cross-functional team and engaging with consumers daily to spread brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee and manage daily operations of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube)
    • Daily engagement on all social platforms (including engaging with our audience as well as engaging with trending applicable content)
    • Ensure content goes live on all social channels based on editorial schedule
    • Lean on on social listening tools to keep the pulse of consumer and industry trends
    • Monitor post performance to help guide creative direction and boost high performing posts
    • Coordinate and manage social / brand giveaways and Instagram takeovers
    • Work closely with customer service to tend to all consumer requests
    • Continue to build on the growth within all channels by consistent outreach to new cohorts and communities
  • Assist team in creating unique content to leverage brand awareness
    • Create content for Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest
    • Make sure content is relevant with pop culture, holidays, seasonality, etc.
    • Focus on leveraging consumers to purchase product in store and online
    • Manage editorial calendar 2-3 weeks in advance for content ideas and planning
    • Content editing for videos, reels, TikToks, etc….
  • Be the voice of the brand
    • Maintain and hone in on the brand vision and voice across all social channels, developing complementary and specific editorial strategies for each social channel
    • Resolve conflicts and escalate issues when appropriate; provide timely problem solving and conflict resolution support/intervention when appropriate
    • Work on creating and growing social media faq document to leverage with consumers and creators

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Content Creation, Content Management, Customer Service, Social Media Management
  • Prior industry experience in food, CPG, and/or grocery/natural is preferred
  • Proficiency in social listening platforms like Hootsuite, Sprout Social and creative platforms like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Familiarity with copywriting for brands in the food space
  • Outstanding video and editing skills with demonstrated success in design
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of SEO preferred but not required
