SCIENCE TEACHER (Full Time)

Job description

Christ the King High School is seeking a full time science teacher for the 2024-25 school year.

· Living Environment

· Earth Science

· Chemistry

The ideal candidate should possess:

· A Bachelor's degree in a science discipline or closely related field from an accredited college

· A NYS teaching certification in secondary education OR current enrollment in a certification program (Preferred)

· Familiarity with NYS science curriculum, lab requirements and NYS Regents standards in the science disciplines

· Knowledge of current educational practices and technology (SMART, iOS, internet etc.)

· Ability to incorporate aforementioned technology into planning and teaching

· Willingness to integrate and uphold the authentic teachings of the Catholic Faith in their respective discipline.

· Willingness to coordinate extracurricular activities (Preferred)

· Teaching experience (Preferred)

Salary commensurate with level of education and experience.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
