Job Summary
The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing process for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in electronic billing (e-billing) and billing utilizing billing software integrated with a General Ledger. Previous work experience in a law firm is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the billing process for the organization
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of clients
- Work with clients to resolve any billing issues
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Provide support to attorneys and staff on billing-related matters
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in electronic billing (e-billing) and billing utilizing billing software integrated with a General Ledger is strongly preferred
- Previous work experience in a law firm is strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
