We are searching for a healthcare data warehousing professional to join the Center for Strategic Information Management’s (CSIM) data warehouse and analytic development team. We currently have one, substantially remote work opportunity for a Data Warehouse Architect. At CSIM you will:
Work with the latest data warehousing and BI technologies. We’re building our cloud data warehouse on AWS and Snowflake.

Requirements:
Primary Experience – Better candidates will have varied, hands-on experiences designing, building and maintaining data assets/warehouses in a healthcare environment. Likely experiences include:ELT – Design, build, maintain, schedule and optimization of Informatica ELT code.
Data Management Operations – Develop and improve processes and timely resolve problems in a busy data operations environment.
Technical Governance Standards – Implementing efficient data engineering standards and policies, supporting data quality, efficiency and needs of your BI developer/analyst community.
Migrations and data asset rationalization – Design and lead the transition a diverse set of sometimes overlapping/redundant data assets into a simpler, more rational, and efficient topology.
Interact with privacy, security, networking, IT infrastructure and other technologists to support IT industry best practices related to highly confidential HIPAA protected data.
Secondary Experience – This position is heavily data management/engineering oriented. Better candidates, however, will be able to lead or participate in projects that include BI analytic content development objectives. In these roles you will work with clinical and/or administrative business units to achieve a data and analytics supported objective. These will typically include a data management component but also the develop of dashboards, reports, dynamic analytic content solutions or predictive models.
BS degree in relevant technical or healthcare field. Additional experience supported by accomplishments may serve in lieu of formal education.
Five plus years relevant experience in Data Warehousing and/or Business Intelligence.
A real desire to understand and have an impact on healthcare operations using data.
Diverse understanding of IT issues and practices. Your experiences in other IT disciplines will be well appreciated.
Creative problem solving and communication skills. Everything we do surrounds solving problems, with others and working with others to create and implement solutions.
Ability to access the relative cost/value of advanced and evolving data warehouse practices including semi-structured data, text data analysis and NLP, real time data integration, geospatial information, IOT data traffic, external data sources, machine learning and practice AI.
Ability to work closely with clinical analytic and project teams on performance improvement projects, understand analytic requirements, analyze results and prototype/iterate solutions in a team setting.
