ChristianaCare, Medicare Advantage (Primary Care for patients age 65 ) at Rehoboth is looking for a Medical Assistant.
The Medicare Advantage practice at Rehoboth is located on Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The Medicare Advantage practice at Rehoboth offers a wide range of medical services for adults age 65 and older. In addition to traditional Primary Care services, the practice will offer functional assessments performed by a Physical Therapist, on-site behavioral health and nutrition services and much more!
You will join a team of one Physician, one Advanced Practice Clinician, supported by a Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, Social Worker, Medical Assistants, Office Assistants and a Patient Digital Ambassador.
Work Schedule:
This full-time position days and hours are as follows:
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- No Weekend, Evening or Holidays, at this time
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Qualification Requirements:
- Proof of a valid driver's license and active auto insurance is required.
- Ability to travel to patient homes, ChristianaCare practices and/or community sites in designated geographic areas, as deemed necessary by supervisor
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required.
