Task/Duties
Breakfast
- Start up dishwasher
- Assist Prep Cook in filling up ice
- Check tables and floors for cleanliness
- Put out condiments and refill as necessary
- Check silverware and dishes, make sure appropriate dishes out for meal
- Check napkins and paper towel dispensers
- Wash dishes
After Breakfast
- Finish washing dishes
- Check bathrooms and trashcans
- Wipe down tables and chairs
- Spot sweep and mop if necessary
Lunch
- Assist Prep Cook in filling up ice

- Check silverware and dishes, make sure appropriate dishes out for meal

After Lunch

Task/Duties
Breakfast
- Fill up ice dispenser and salad bar (or bins for fruit and yogurt if no lunch)
- Set out cereal, instant oatmeal, and breads
- Prep fresh cut fruit and put on salad bar with whole fruit
- Set out yogurts and milk on salad bar
- Set up dishwashing machine (if no dishwasher scheduled)
- Periodically check salad buffet during meal for refills
After Breakfast
- Take in fruits, milks, and yogurts making sure they are dated properly
- Put up cereal, instant oatmeal, and breads in cabinets or dry storage
Lunch
- Prep salad bar items and fresh vegetables to be cooked for lunch
- Prep dessert or snacks if any
- Check ice levels in salad bar and ice dispenser
- Periodically check salad buffet during meal for refills
After Lunch
- Either put lids on salad bar containers or put back on salad cart and roll into fridge (if no dinner).
- Wipe down salad bar, sweep around salad bar, and empty drip bucket into rain barrel.
Dinner
- Check ice levels and refill as necessary
- Prep salad bar items and fresh vegetables to be cooked for dinner

- Periodically check salad buffet during meal for refills
After Dinner
- Pull items from salad bar, put lids on, and make sure all are labeled correctly

- Required previous restaurant/fast food experience, or salad/vegetable prep experience or high school/college culinary class
Task/Duties

- Mix or set out drinks
- Make coffee(s)
- Check silverware and put out condiments (if no dishwasher)
- Assist Lead Cook with main dishes
- Pan up food items, put in hot pass thru or holding, and then put on buffet.
- Assist in serving if necessary
- Periodically check buffet during meal for refills
After Breakfast
- Pull food off line
- Put up leftovers and label appropriately
- Assist in putting up dishes after cleaned

- Cook main course and stove top side items
- Pan up food items, put in hot pass thru or holding, then put on buffet.
- Turn on lights and unlock doors (if you are supervisor)
- Help serve buffet if necessary and serve special diet items
- Double check set up before patrons arrive
- Cook necessary refill items during meal
After Breakfast
