WHAT’S THE ROLE?
We’re looking for a versatile copywriter to join our small but mighty creative team. We serve the marketing team
and the greater organization (which includes more scientific endeavors, business development, and more), so
there’s a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and bring your problem-solving creativity to the
table. Our team is nimble and juggling several longer- and shorter-turnaround projects during any given time, so a
self-starter who is eager to pitch in and learn would truly shine here. We support one another and work closely
together—we will do everything to set you up for success and keep you going. Experience working in both startup
cultures and larger organizations will serve you well, though this is not a requirement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
● Content Marketing:
We work on everything that’s on our website(s), Amazon listings, paid ads, landing pages, blog posts,
special scientific communications, business development pitches, emails, organic social media posts, video
scripts, and more. You’ll be helping to scale and add to some or all of these efforts. So lots of writing!
● Scientific Communications:
We have a dedicated “communications engine” through which we share a lot of the research and new
scientific developments around our key ingredient. Ideally you will be able to jump in here.
● Collaboration:
You’ll work with the rest of the creative team as well as the larger marketing team, science and legal teams,
external freelancers, and others in order to ensure alignment and mitigate any inaccuracies or challenges.
● Brand Creative Evolution:
This is an exciting time for ChromaDex and Tru Niagen and we are continuing to refine and add to our
brand guidelines and other brand-supportive materials.
● Ideation and Big-Picture Thinking:
You’ll have an opportunity to help develop and define new campaigns and initiatives. You’ll help to refine
the nuances of how art and language work together to build great creative work for our brand, and iterate
and dissect to see where and how we can improve based on channel, audience, and other factors.
There’s lots more, but hopefully this paints an exciting picture!
