Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hot section turbine blade and vane repair cells
- Manage a team of supervisors and ensure that repairs are performed to the highest quality standards
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements to streamline operational flow and increase efficiency
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed at all times
- Prepare and manage department resources effectively
- Stay current with industry developments and trends and implement best practices
- Provide leadership and direction to achieve site goals and objectives.
- Help Develop a strong and Autonomous Team of Leaders
- Provide CI tools and guide our Leaders on how to capture data in order to improve areas of responsibilities
- Continue to nurture a positive culture based on accountability and company’s values
Hiring Range: $113,800 - $149,310
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing
- Turbine manufacturing operations experience preferred
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Strong knowledge of turbine blade and vane repair techniques preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to be agile within a dynamic workplace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
