Quality Assurance Technician

ChromaScape is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Tech who can Lead, organize and conduct internal audits and report on results. We are looking for someone who can work with customer service to ensure that all external customer complaints are documented, investigated and resolved in our Twinsburg/Stow plant. The Quality Assurance Tech will lead initiatives, with use of lean principles/tools for process improvements and identify root causes internally and externally. 

Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Tech:

• Create, standardize, document and maintain operating procedures and work instructions and written procedures.
• Conduct regularly scheduled quality meetings.
• Manage non-conforming material return process
• Apply quality management tools and approaches to resolve non-conformances.
• Assist in in creation and distribution of quality reports.
• Work with internal functional teams to ensure that all internal complaints are documented, investigated and resolved.

Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Tech: 

• Associates degree or equivalent (SPC, Quality or Science background preferred)
• 3 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance in manufacturing environment
• Required Digital Proficiencies: PC (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) smartphone.
• Familiarity with LEAN principles
• Basic math skills(addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Physical/Environment Demands for the Quality Assurance Tech:

• Talk, hear, type, stand, sit, walk, lift (up to 20 pounds), kneel, bend
• Must be able to read and understand technical material related to job specifications
• Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, read from a computer screen.

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Mental and physical dexterity to facilitate machine operation and physical ability to obtain respirator clearance.
