Position: Data Specialist

Supervisor: Chief Organization Leader

Job Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt/Hourly

Position Summary:

The Data Specialist is responsible for analyzing, improving, and upholding the integrity of the organization’s program reports. This position will maintain the database for client service information. Maintenance includes, but is not limited to, ensuring timely and proper data entry from staff, interpreting the entered data for reporting, submitting program reports, providing organizational statistics for decision-making, and advising leadership of any statistical trends. As a certified Trauma Informed agency, Chrysalis is dedicated to supporting and assisting employees to reach their professional goals by promoting a working environment that fosters opportunities for employee empowerment and growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage client database and existing data reporting options. Explore areas for growth and implement changes for improvement.
  • Lead and manage data integration and conversion.
  • Responsible for coordinating and preparing all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for 50 grants and contracts.
  • Perform data quality assessments and evaluations.
  • Train new and existing staff for client database; provide person-centered assistance by cultivating professional relationships based on trust and dependability.
  • Track contract and grant trends to share with organization groups, committees, and leadership.
  • Serve as a lead regarding database issues and resolution.
  • Other duties as requested.

Knowledge, Ability, Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of two years data analysis experience required.
  • Data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
  • Reporting and data visualization. Seek the meaning hidden in data.
  • Skill in preparing written reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint. Detail oriented.
  • Professional demeanor, flexible and able to utilize critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational, administration, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Apricot (Social Solutions) not required, but desired.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background clearance as required by Chrysalis and ADHS licensure requirements; must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by Chrysalis policies; must maintain current TB Testing, CPR and first aid training as required by Chrysalis policies; May be required to move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs and to ascend/descend stairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
