CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese restaurants, has an immediate opening for a Videographer at our Support Center based in Irving, Texas.
We’re looking for a talented, passionate candidate with outstanding motion skills to work on a variety of marketing projects. Under direction from the Sr. Director of Creative, the Videographer will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with our brand image and marketing strategy to ultimately support Chuck E. Cheese brand, but also add value and resources to our Support Center and other brand divisions as needed. With a fast-paced restaurant marketing environment, the ideal candidate will need to be able to hit the ground running and have 5 years of experience in motion graphics and editing. Essential Functions
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging video content for a range of platforms, including social media, websites and internal channels
• All aspects of video production, including creating, editing, audio/sound mixing & color correction
• Ensure brand identity is understood and executed correctly through storyboards
• Post-Production: Edit and enhance raw footage, applying color correction, audio adjustments, and special effects as needed to expand the brand message
• Proficiency for video production with strong creative vision, storytelling and audio/music skills
• Ability to produce high-quality video broadcast, social and other marketing ads
• Expertise in creating engaging short-form content, such as gifs
• Provide video work for internal Support Center needs, such as special events, PR and communications
• Solution–based thinker who is able to offer a variety of effective options and can prioritize projects
• Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, typography, lighting, composition and music
• Fundamentals in editing and proofreading skills working across various multimedia platforms
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, can prioritize & meet deadlines
• Keep current with the latest trends in video production and propose innovative new ideas
Essential Qualifications
• 5 years of experience executing video projects in an agency, in-house department, or similar professional studio environment
• Strong portfolio with exceptional motion skills and diversity of work required
• Degree in videography and motion graphics at a university, college, or vocational school
• Knowledgeable about all tv/digital mediums across various platforms and able to create video content
• Experience in restaurant or retail operations strongly preferred
• Solid working knowledge in software programs, such as Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Suite, along with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut and other digital asset management experience necessary
• Must be highly-organized and detail oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with occasional overtime.
