Abiding Harvest is a growing multi-generational church located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with a mission to make disciples of all ages.
We are looking for a Kitchen Coordinator to help oversee our Sunday morning breakfast experience. We prepare and serve a hot breakfast for our church family and guests on Sunday mornings from 9 : am to : am.
We are looking for a qualified candidate with 3-5 years of experience cooking and preparing meals for large groups, either in a restaurant, hotel, or for a caterer in a commercial kitchen.
Ideally, this person will enjoy cooking, be knowledgeable about cleaning a commercial kitchen, and have the ability to develop and lead our kitchen volunteer team.
Over the last 6 months, our Kitchen team of volunteers has grown from 6 to people making it one of the largest ministry teams in our church.
This Kitchen Coordinator position will be part-time, working hours per week with a flexible work schedule. The Kitchen Coordinator is required to be onsite Sunday mornings from 8am : pm, but other responsibilities can be done anytime throughout the week.

Some of your tasks will be coordinating volunteers, making breakfast menus, shopping for food, preparing meals, managing the kitchen budget, cooking, cleaning, and developing volunteers.

- Send out Schedule availability survey bi-monthly Schedule volunteers based on availability and complete schedule Add schedule to Kitchen Group resource page on planning center, our church management software.
Add schedule to Services in Planning Center that sends out automatic weekly reminders. Send out a weekly reminder message through Kitchen Group on planning center.
2. Prepare for Breakfast Meal
Make a weekly menu Go out and shop for food and bring back to church. Make sure kitchen is clean and ready to cook breakfast Sunday mornings.
3. Cook and Oversee Breakfast meal Sunday Mornings for (- people)
Give volunteers specific tasks and teach them how Prepare, cook, and serve breakfast from (9 : am : am) Help volunteers with cleanup after service ( : am - : pm)
4. Budget Management
