Basic Function

The Construction Loan Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the construction loan process at Churchill Mortgage. This position involves collaborating with various internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of construction loan transactions. The Construction Loan Administrator provides essential administrative support, conducts thorough documentation reviews, and communicates effectively to facilitate timely disbursement of funds and completion of construction projects. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach are crucial in this ever-changing loan product.

 

Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management:
    • Review all builder submission documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Review all project submission documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Maintain accurate and update records of all builder and project submissions.
    • Once Builder and Project reviews are completed, ensure file aligns with final reviewed documentation.
  • Administrative Support & Customer Service:
    • Assist both internal and external customers with questions and tasks specific to the construction and renovation loan products.
    • Assist in getting new loan officers set up with construction and renovation training, manage and track certification process.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping them informed through the loan process.
  • Communication & Risk Management:
    • Serve as a point of contact for clients, contractor and internal team members regarding construction loan inquiries and updates.
    • Communicate effectively with all parties involved to gather necessary information and facilitate smooth progression of construction projects.
    • Identify potential risks and issues related to construction projects, loan transactions and builder relationships- escalating when appropriate for resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices related to construction and renovation lending.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested


 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in banking, lending, or construction industry administration preferred, not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Encompass.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing construction and renovation lending is a plus.
