Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and oversee the nursing department, implementing programs that meet rigorous healthcare standards and regulations.

- Craft, maintain, and periodically update all nursing protocols and procedural documentation.

- Represent the facility during inspections and surveys conducted by government agencies.

- Manage the nursing service department's budget, coordinating with the administrative team for approval and adjustments.

- Identify staffing needs to ensure comprehensive nursing care is provided to residents.

- Collaborate in recruitment and hiring processes alongside the HR team to staff the nursing service department.

- Spearhead performance evaluation processes, fostering an environment of accountability and growth within the nursing team.

Qualifications:

- Hold a minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.

- At least three years of supervisory experience in a healthcare facility, with a preference for those with experience in long-term care settings.

- A minimum of six months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

- An active, unencumbered RN license in the state.

- Demonstrated ability to engage respectfully and effectively with individuals across various levels, including staff, residents, family members, and government officials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
