What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Payroll Technician position at Cianbro?
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist project startup and close out of all prevailing wage projects
- Provide prevailing wage training & support to admins and project teams in office or job site as needed.
- Assist in auditing prevailing wage projects
- Assist in solving payroll & prevailing wage issues
- Monitor prevailing wage jobs to ensure certified payroll and other reporting requirements completed by the admin team are met.
- Facilitate meetings and coordinate training as required.
- Bring & implement ideas to continuously improve processes.
- Support the field admin team in all payroll & prevailing wage activities
- Jobsite payroll administration as needed
- Collaborate on IT projects associated with payroll and certified payroll processes
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have at least five years of administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment. Preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor and a collaborative attitude.
- Self-starter and pro-active
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization & leadership skills
- Intermediate to Advanced excel skills desired
