To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com This position will support Wires Operations and will also work closely with the Wire Production, Wire Services, Fraud and Sanctions Management, and Treasury Management Service Teams. Primary responsibilities include the monitoring of daily wire transfer activity and exception queues; Review, diagnose, and accurately resolving foreign and domestic wire exceptions. Work closely with Bankers, Relationship Managers and other Bank Officers to communicate exceptions under review and obtain appropriate approvals to process or cancel request as outlined in our policies and procedures. Review, investigate, and understand Sanction Alerts regarding wire and SWIFT traffic and appropriately adjudicate alerts in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities may include providing support to wire production for the processing of manual wire transfers, contribute to project activities, assists in developing and testing of procedures to maximize efficiency and improve the customer service experience, and training peers on current processes and procedures.
