Job Summary:
The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating saws to cut various materials to specific dimensions and shapes. They will be required to set up and adjust saws, as well as maintain and clean them. The Saw Operator will also be responsible for inspecting materials for defects and ensuring that they meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate saws to cut materials to specific dimensions and shapes
- Set up and adjust saws
- Maintain and clean saws
- Inspect materials for defects
- Ensure that materials meet quality standards
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a saw operator preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics beneficial but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th
Schedule:
- 5am -2pm, M-F
