Lead Retail Associate

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Coordinates, supervises, and sets objectives for daily activities on the sales floor.
• Fosters an environment of teamwork within the operation while developing employees to achieve their goals and objectives. Upholds our core values.
• Has in-depth knowledge of standard operating procedures relating to the sales floor.
• Maintains basic understanding of standard bar operating procedures and can assist as needed.
• Applies expertise to solve standard and non-standard customer service issues.
• Escalates any concerns or issues to store’s management team.
• Assists management team in weekly inventory cycle counts and inventory receiving processes.
• Assists management team in weekly purchase order creation as needed.
• Provides customer feedback and input to management team on product assortment and selections.
• Resolves day-to-day or routine problems using defined processes.
• Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by promoting safety at all levels of the operation.
• Maintains in-depth working knowledge of managerial functions within our point of sale system such as complex returns, wholesale, and other advanced functions.
• Supports store opening and closing managerial duties as required.
• Motivates team to hit daily and monthly sales targets.
• Assists management team in new hire training and other training programs within the company. Could be asked to serve as an assigned mentor to new hires.

Competencies:

• 1 years of hospitality or customer service-based work history.
• Preferred to have 1 years of experience within a Retail Associate role. Not required.
• Has operated common retail point of sale systems in prior work history.
• Understands standard retail merchandising practices.
• Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy.
• Has strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with retail and bar teams.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel (basic) and Outlook required.
• Possess great oral, basic math, and written communication skills
• Has flexibility to work overtime if needed.
