What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadership Development Lead Analyst position at Cigna?
This role plays a key role in the overall processes and functionality of Cigna’s Technology Leadership Development Programs. This position will support The LDP Office, which manages several development programs, each targeting a different level of professional (early career, mid-career and experienced). This position is pivotal in ensuring the programs maintain continued success and a drive towards the broader Enterprise Talent Strategy. The role is instrumental creating and implementing efficiencies/improvements to the programs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support a collaborative group of early, middle and senior-career technology professionals with healthcare expertise and technical knowledge/leadership aptitude.
Provide career coaching for associates or interns, including assistance with the role request and placement processes.
Identify and align appropriate development program initiatives to diversify the associate learning and overall experience.
Coach leaders at all levels of the organization on program requirements and associate performance/development action plans. Be an advocate for the program.
Establish positive relationships to aide in the streamlining of processes across the programs. Demonstrate resourcefulness in problem-solving skills.
Work closely with program executive sponsors and reports on program strategy and status to the senior leadership team.
Work closely with Cigna University, peer program leads, technical experts, talent acquisition and external experts to create and sustain a high-impact development program learning curriculum.
Ensure alignment with the enterprise-wide and technology program diversity and inclusion strategy.
Develop and execute a communications plan for events, development opportunities and information for the technical community and broader technology organization.
Provide support for onboarding new hires three times annually. This includes accountability for fulfilling equipment needs, securing desk assignments, confirming system access rights and coordinating with HR Operations to ensure new hires are transitioned to proper manager assignments.
Support coordination and logistics of high-profile meetings throughout the year, including but not limited to, strategic planning sessions, feedback forums, and community events.
Manage processes for the broader Program Office Team through effective communication and organization.
Coordinate business travel in accordance with travel preferences and corporate travel/expense guidelines using Cigna’s booking tool. Track and manage team and associate travel, where applicable.
Complete other general program management responsibilities as needed, including supply ordering and expense tracking, maintenance of org charts, rosters and distribution lists, program metrics reporting, etc.
Participate in other duties and special projects, as determined by the needs of the team.
Ensure professionalism and confidentiality is maintained in all interactions – written and verbal.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with a focus on Leadership Development/Learning.
Ability to communicate and facilitate across all levels of a large organization with a propensity to lead by example.
Capable of managing competing priorities / confidential materials and navigating through change.
Strong resourcefulness skills required and encouraged.
Strong time management skills highly organized, detail oriented, independent. Works well under pressure and in autonomous settings.
Passion for accuracy, proactive problem solving, and learning.
Demonstrated ability to produce executive-level documents in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Ability to draft communications that represent style, tone, and professionalism.
Ability to foster working relationships with the team and other departments.
Prior experience in implementing and managing processes.
Experience with reporting and metrics job incumbent must utilize data to create insights and drive process improvements.
