Sr. Manager, PCM Project Management
- Owns the output of a key discipline within IT Project Management and manages a team of IT Project Manager job family roles
- Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project oriented work efforts to support Precision Care Management (PCM) portfolio
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
- Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers
- Partners with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise
- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
- Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
- Focuses on achievement of departmental goals and plays a significant part in achieving functional goals
- Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and experience to set departmental goals which align with functional strategy
- Focuses on achievement of departmental goals and plays a significant part in achieving functional goals
- Proficient in applying theory in field and putting into proactive with full understanding of professional field and works on problems of diverse scope
- Establishes and assures adherence to budget & performance in department
- Excellent track record of developing & growing teams
- Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in field
- Strong tactical decision maker, handles unforeseen issues with various stakeholders
- Enables, cultivates and infuses the organizational culture model across several areas of the current aligned organization
Qualifications:
- Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university
- Proven track record of successful program delivery with 7+ years of direct program or project management experience leading business/technology transformation initiatives using Agile methodologies
- Excellent track record of developing and growing project management teams required
- PMP certification required SAFe certifications beneficial, but not required
- Comfortable presenting, facilitating discussions, and driving decisions with senior/executive stakeholders
- Experience using project tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Smartsheet is required
- Healthcare utilization management (UM) experience is preferred but not required
