What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator/Supervisor position at CIMA Construction?
CIMA Construction is seeking for a bright induvial that can play two different roles that of a estimator and a general supervisor. Job will include task such as;
- Meeting with reoccurring and new customers to go over the clients vision, scope and needs.
- Travel as needed for site visits, meetings with customers and general estimating tasks.
- Participate in, when available, ongoing training for estimators.
- Support ongoing departmental process improvement toward desired sales outcomes and maximum operational efficiency.
- Analyze and compile estimate data that impact the cost of labor, materials, equipment requirements, location and other factors to ensure a high quality and timely estimate.
- Review drawings, specifications and proposed project site conditions; record findings and solicit input from field operations to include in final project estimate.
- Communicate with owners, subcontractors, public and private entities to ensure competitiveness.
- Review “take-off” quantities to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates.
- Draw up a proposal including detailed scope, pricing, and wording.
- Oversee ongoing projects
- Some crew supervision
Knowledge, skills, and abilities;
- Advanced knowledge of construction principles and equipment capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.),

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bellingham, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
