Cimarron is seeking a Skilled Framer/Finisher/Painter to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The selected candidate for this position will need to work the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm ET).
Key Duties
- Demonstrate construction skills, including rough-in and lay-out.
- Read basic blueprints and become familiar with building codes.
- Provide general support in response to routine trouble calls.
- Use hand and power tools including saws, routers, and drills to construct, renovate, and repair facilities and equipment.
- Work under high physical demands, deadlines, and time constraints to ensure timely completion of facilities construction projects.
- Shift easily from project to project and work on several projects at a time, understanding that prioritization of work may cause planned delays in other tasks.
- Learn light carpentry, construction, and painting skills to assist in repairing and mantaining customer facilities.
- Pick up building materials for projects as requested and ordered by supervisors.
- Validate ordered materials.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- 5 or more years of finishing and painting experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35lbs.
- Experience providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or FS Polygraph.
