Job Description:
- Work as part of the engineering team to assist engineers in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources, tracking information, and locating documents.
- Work with the schedule and report work progress.
- Organize and coordinate submittals, document reviews, meetings, and workshops.
- Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines in day-to-day work activities.
- Perform data searches and maintain open item punch list items status.
- Support meeting presentations, including preparing presentation slides.
- Support the preparation of technical documents under the direction of an engineer.
- Support the Project Engineering team in monitoring and status cost and schedule performance.
- Assure work meets high-quality standards while meeting schedule constraints.
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
- Possesses a strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data through the use of relational databases.
- Ability to analyze data within technical documents to identify relevant information and properly classify that information so that it can be sorted and readily retrieved for later analysis and use by project staff.
- Possesses the desire and ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques in response to requests for information.
- Ability to communicate with other data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.
- Possesses the ability to accurately identify and capture relevant technical details from within large documents and data sets.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 application suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Ability to understand the purpose of pivot tables.
- Associate of Art or Science and 1 or more years of relevant experience with computer databases and spreadsheets and/or with the identification and management of technical/design data.
