Director - Security Architecture & Solutions

Job Purpose

Directs the CBI Security (Cyber and Physical Security) organization, assists in the setting of strategy, goals, and objectives for the department, and performs multiple, self-guided technical and functional roles. CBI Security (Cyber and Physical) develops policies, standards, and guidelines and provides services to mitigate physical and cyber risks to Cincinnati Bell and subsidiary organizations' information, IT systems, electronic products, facilities, and physical assets. CBI Security works with the corporate and subsidiary organizations to assess risk and ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented in accordance with established policies, standards, guidelines, and processes.

Essential Functions

• Security Management - Establishment, facilitation, or operation of cyber and physical security processes to protect an organization's facilities, assets, information, and services. (10%)
• People Management - Direct and indirect management of employees, teams, and stakeholders. Sets the direction of cross-functional teams and stakeholders and mentors department staff (15%)
• Financials - Track and measure costs to ensure appropriate investment and efficient and effective solutions to drive business value (10%)
• Risk Management - Identifies and mitigates potential cyber and physical security risks (15%)
• Compliance Management - Assess and facilitate the compliance of the organization with external regulatory requirements that relate to security. Active participation with external consortia and agencies (10%)
• Policies and standards - Develop and deliver commercially acceptable policies and standards that mitigate physical and cyber risks to Cincinnati Bell information, IT systems, electronic products, facilities, and physical assets (10%)
• Innovative Solutions - Designs creative solutions that use technologies and processes to mitigate physical and cyber risks to Cincinnati Bell information, IT systems, electronic products, facilities, and physical assets (20%)
• Security Implementation and Operations - Operationalize documented solutions and deliver day-to-day security operations and support (minimal)

Experience

• 10 years telecommunications or information technology experience including 5 plus years security and compliance
