Quality Improvement Manager CINQCARE Position Description
Overview The Quality Improvement (QI) Manager provides day-to-day support and supervision for the Quality Improvement Program. Within its provider and member engagement pillar, they help manage the implementation and execution of CINQCARE’s QI Program. The QI Manager with accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions, and directly to meet CINQCARE requirements. Primary Responsibilities
The QI Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Management of medical record review, CAHPS and HEDIS Gaps in Care Projects.
Day-to-day management of medical record retrieval and scheduling of clinical review staff.
Development and implementation of internal and vendor policies and procedures.
Maintains a strong and up to date understanding of CAHPS, HEDIS and the Medicare Star Program and technical specifications.
Development of provider and staff education and support materials for HEDIS. CAHPS and Star Measures.
Conducts training on same when needed.
Conducts member and provider outreach as needed and performs medical record abstraction and data entry functions as needed.
Supervises outreach, clinical review, and QI facilitation staff.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
General Duties
The QI Manager will have the following duties:
Leadership: The QI Manager will work closely with VP of Quality and Risk Adjustment, the Risk Adjust manager, the CCO, CMO, the Clinical Operations Department and the Health Economics Department to build the Provider and Member Engagement Models to improve member experience, access and quality care and services.
Collaboration: The QI Manager will work closely with other departments to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, to achieve the quality objectives of CINQCARE.
Knowledge: The QI Manager will help design and execute the development of provider and member engagement strategies to improve the quality of care and services rendered in the IPA/ACO.
Culture: The QI Manager is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment as part of the larger Company.
Qualifications
The QI Manager should have the following qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Health Care related field required. RN, or MPH/MPA, preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience performing HEDIS, CAHPS and/or Medicare Star Related functions in a managed care setting or related setting required.
Project management experience preferred.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as familiarity and willingness to learn EMR platforms.
Experience with supervising staff preferred.

Location: New York, NY Compensation: $85,000- $90,000
