Senior Intelligence Operations Analyst

Description

• Apply critical thinking methodologies and processes in developing recommendations for resolving complex problems, conducting analysis, development, production and delivery of products to include information papers, briefings and oral presentations.
• Maintain continuous liaison with customer agencies, regional operational watch centers, and national intelligence community agencies. Maintain an in-depth understanding of foreign and domestic terrorist threats.
• Assist Government Regional Desk Officers in gaining, maintaining, sustaining and expanding effective liaison with supported Army Service Component Commands, Combatant Commands and supported units deployed within their respective Areas of Responsibility.
• Provide intelligence analysis, production, content management, and dissemination to support Regional Desk Officers on gaining, sustaining and continuously updating situational awareness of operations, activities and emerging threats in the various combatant command areas of responsibility that have immediate or potential impact on Ithe customer's global intelligence operations, personnel and capabilities, and enhance SIL situational understanding.
• Perform all-source intelligence analysis related to military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability. Conduct intelligence analysis in support of ongoing global operations, emerging situations, and planning efforts for near-, mid- and long-term effort. Regularly monitor data portals, data repositories, databases, networks, and message traffic and conduct necessary research and analysis required to produce intelligence documents.
• Develop and present briefings, information papers, executive summaries and operational requirements updates. Prepare input for inclusion in various reports and other electronic data repositories, as required utilizing tools to include Google Earth, Arc GIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and the embedded suite of intelligence analysis tools.
• Assist in transition of missions, actions, and activities from the future operations team to the cururent opperations team for action, implementation and execution.
• Prepare and present assessments and mission analysis briefings, annexes, papers, and Regional Threat Network Nodal Analysis in support of Regional Desk Officer and IOC requirements.
• Perform routine workspace housekeeping tasks; to include, regular vacuuming, daily trash removal, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

Required:

• 10-15 years of experience as an all source intelligence analayst or Army/joint forces experience including particular experience as a staff member at a Brigade or higher level with experience as a primary staff officer, staff section officer or staff section warrant officer.
• Bachelor's degree
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance

• Experience with all-source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analysis
• Demonstrated experience delivering global situational awareness in support of planning, synchronization, decision making and execution of client missions using automated systems
• Demonstrated experience with intelligence automated systems
• Working knowledge of the Army’s five paragraph operations order
• Operational, Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination Experience
• Demonstrated experience managing research and coordination for projects
• At least 8 years of experience with Military Plans and Operations processes
• Experience working with and maintaining databases
