What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Administrator position at Circle B Inc?

Circle B Incorporated is currently looking to fill the position of Logistics Administrator (FT). This role supports our regional trucking and freight brokerage divisions. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, and effectively communicate with our external customers and internal leadership team.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday.

Hours are 8am-4pm, (can be flexible).

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with QuickBooks, preferred
  • Active listener with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail while multi-tasking
  • Ability to work well within a team, and also independently manage their workload
  • Experience with freight billing and logistics software a plus, but willing to train

Job duties would include:

  • Provide friendly customer service via phone and email
  • Review documents for three (3) inter-related companies to ensure accuracy for billing
  • Generate invoices for customers in a timely manner
  • Process vendor/carrier bills for payment
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow-up on any past due accounts
  • Assist with DOT regulatory reporting & compliance
  • Cross-train with Logistics Coordinator to assist, as needed
  • Opportunity for this position to grow; dependent upon candidate qualifications
  • Data entry, light filing, and other office duties required

Educational Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • College degree, preferred
  • Prior experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role, preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
