Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Merchandising, the Head of Global Private Label & Owned Brands proactively leads the development, growth and management of our global Owned Brands portfolio. Interprets the function of category role and strategy into a successful portfolio of Owned Brands; Defines and communicates strategic focal points, including goals for revenue, units, and gross margin, promotional initiatives, promotional frameworks, essential product range, and growth objectives for both the immediate and extended future. Ensures portfolio is consistent with procedures, operational workflows, key performance indicators, and additional metrics that align with the organization's overarching merchandise goals. Manages a team of subordinate staff members (U.S., Canada & Europe).

- Develop and execute a comprehensive Owned brand portfolio aligned with the company’s overall merchandise and category objectives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform brand strategy and product development.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Owned brands into the overall retail strategy.
- Oversee all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring products satisfy established benchmarks and consumer expectations.
- Collaborate with various stakeholder groups, including consumer insights, category merchants, procurement, and marketing teams to develop and execute a differentiated product portfolio
- Manage product assortment, pricing, and positioning to maximize market share and profitability.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards for all Owned brand products.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards across different markets.
- Develop and manage the Owned brand budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and achievement of financial targets.
- Implement strategies to enhance profitability and reduce costs without compromising on quality.
- Build and lead a high-performance team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and industry experts.
- Represent the company’s Owned Brand portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and related settings.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- 15 years’ experience in brand management, product development, or retail operations, specializing in Owned brands / Private Label portfolios.
- Track record of demonstrated success in building or growing Owned brand portfolios within a retail or omni-channel environment.
- Robust analytical capabilities and financial savvy; adept at interpreting and applying market data for strategic decision-making.
- Proficient in leading teams, including managing cross-functional collaborations.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing all organizational levels
- Competent in overseeing concurrent projects and adhering to deadlines.
