Position Summary
This position reports to the Senior Project Manager of Real Estate and Construction and supports the Real Estate and Construction Groups. Position is responsible for managing projects, dates and helping to provide oversight of Civil and Architectural firms in collaboration with construction. This position will help manage the metrics and report cards related to the performance of the third-party project management firms and civil and architectural firms. The position has direct responsibility of managing third party PM firms. Position applies knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet all project requirements. The execution in the position draws on 10 areas: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Procurement, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in development experience with strong background in applications project management software and other software including but not limited to Excel and PowerPoint. Must have strong knowledge of the processes that relate to real estate and construction. The person must be able to learn and teach new software applications including but not limited to Smartsheets.
Must be well organized and possess ability to handle multiple responsibilities under constant deadlines with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Must possess well developed verbal and written communication skills and well as excellent interpersonal skills. The position requires the ability to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management – Coordinating and Communicating
Real Estate to Construction Turnover
Ensuring project opening dates are met to enable the team to hit company goals.
Ensure Smartsheet dates are accurate.
Coordination of business unit development meetings to ensure they are productive, standardized and all key dates discussed.
Ensure business unit meetings are collaborative with all key project stakeholders involved.
Each project is measured based on cost, quality, and speed.
PO Management. Ensuring all spend requests have a PO associated. Ensure questions are answered and training is completed by key stakeholders.
Ownership of dates and accuracy
BU development meeting tracking reports
Smartsheet project tracking (Please see the outline below)
Real Estate to Construction Turnover
(Ensuring Accuracy) 5 Dates: MAP approval, SLAP Approval, All permits received, project turnover to construction, Open date.
Providing data for report cards for all External PM and PM firms
Reports
reports and requests by leadership as needed
Dash Boards
Ensuring data – dates are updated and accurate
Software applications
Smartsheets
Other as needed
Capital Budget
Support as needed
Strong understanding and competency
