Marketing Intern

JOB SUMMARY This position provides support to our Marketing and Brand team for the Circle K Heartland Division. We are looking for this person to start the first quarter of 2023. The position will be for 3 months with option to extend. Flexible hours M-F between 8-5pm, standard work week would be 24 hours in Lisle, IL office. May include travel to stores. COMPENSATION $20 / hour ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist with implementing and executing marketing, advertising, pricing and promotional activity by communicating to operations, ordering signage, and working with vendors · Work with internal teams, vendors, and stores to ensure brand and marketing projects are executed on time and accurately · Support signage needs – from tracking and logging submissions, to design and printing, to distribution and store execution. · Approve store signage orders and provide other marketing related support to stores. · Ensure vendor signage is billed, and payments received, in a timely manner. · Organize projects, files and designs for easy reference. · Assist with special projects and duties as needed To properly perform the duties of this position as outlined above, it is essential that the individual be able to meet the following physical demands: • Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time & operate computer keyboard for data entry. • Ability to position self to maintain workspace and files including under the desk. • Ability to move up to 50 pounds. • Ability to sit and drive in a vehicle for extended periods of time • Ability to observe computer screen accurately for data entry. • Ability to use fax machines and copiers. • Ability to exchange information for support for telephone communications. • Ability to sit, talk and/or hear. • Ability to use their hands in order to handle or grasp items of varying weight • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms The physical requirements described herein are essential functions of this job.
