TITLE: Assembler B
POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
You will remove sharp edges from a wide range of parts using hand tools and power tools. You will assemble and disassemble valves using standard tools and special tools including torque wrench and gages.
Principal Activities
- Finishing and deburring machined parts.
- Disassembly of valves and record parts to check lists.
- Assemble by following specific detailed instructions.
- Test and record completed valves.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and practices. Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Must have 3 of assembly or mechanic experience.
- Must be able to read blueprints and read and understand gages.
- Must be familiar with micrometers, Vernier’s and indicators.
- Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic hand tool knowledge, drill, grinding, press and rigging experience is a plus.
- The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- S. Citizen is required for DOD requirements.
Education & Experience
- Must have HS diploma or GED
